I don't have ENOUGH good things to say about this program!
It is engaging and entertaining, and it feels like being really THERE in Spain, and later in the Canary Islands!
And it is suspenseful, because the main person you travel with, Merche, is being followed by a criminal, and gets kidnapped at the end! It's like watching an adventure-journalism movie, but being IN it, too.
And you learn SO MUCH vocabulary through interaction and listening.
Everything from shopping in a grocery store and a pharmacy and a clothing store,
to learning how to meet people and introduce yourself,
to learning how to rent a car or buy tickets or check into a hotel room,
to how to get directions for walking somewhere or for where to turn when driving,
to asking about the price and amenities of an apartment,
.... and so much more!
I really enjoyed it, and I feel like I learned a TON of vocabulary and practical applications.
There's also a quiz at the end for you to see how much you actually have learnt.
And there's an opinion section as well,
where you can add your say to a BBC viewers poll on who all was part of the conspiracy against Mercedes.
I HIGHLY recommend it ! :)
